Url Shortening Service – Project Restarted.

Hi all,

I have decided to restart the project for my own URL shortening Service.

I will continue to have the one at slworkz.com but, The reason for me making my own is I have a new domain name which I really like, Its quite short and has a good humor about it. (I wont post it here yet as I don’t want it getting picked up by web crawlers yet.)

Anyway, I have start of the layout already made so my next step is now to make it allow sign ups. This way it will allow click tracking. This is pretty easy to do I just have to recap on some basic php scripting(As previously stated in early posts, I am a noob to php.) And then once thats done I need to make sure that process is secure. again, pretty simple stuff.

Once thats done. I’ll make the url shortening script then I can work on members pages, For stat displays etc.

I am really keen on getting this done and I will be working on it pretty constant so I shall have a few posts coming up here to let you know how things are going.
