Hi all,

I wanted to give you the heads up. I am just about to start a new URL shortening website.

I am creating it for myself really but it will be open for the public to sign up.

I will keep posting on here as things start to happen.

I will most likely try to start it from scratch instead of buying a ready made script but I am VERY VERY new to web site creation and have a very BASIC knowledge of php so please bare with me.
The reason I shall be doing it myself is purely for the learning process. (Greedy ain’t I? haha)

I shall get all the back end stuff sorted first on one of my test servers and then when ready I shall buy a new domain name but as I already said I shall keep you posted on whats happening.
